This is a Full-Time leadership opportunity.

COMPENSATION: Up to $60,000.00 or more per year

This is both a leadership and hands-on training role.

PERSONAL TRAINING SIMPLIFIED

Personal Trainers at Success Studio work with clients in three formats:

  • One-on-one training sessions

  • Semi-private training sessions (up to 4 clients)

  • Group training sessions (up to 10 clients)

The Studio Manager is expected to actively train clients and maintain presence on the floor while also leading studio operations and staff performance.

POSITION OVERVIEW (HYBRID GENERAL MANAGER/PERSONAL TRAINER ROLE)

This role combines:

  • Personal training

  • Studio management

  • Staff leadership

  • Sales and business operations

You will:

  • Train clients and lead by example on the floor

  • Oversee staff performance and accountability

  • Drive revenue growth and client retention

  • Maintain studio operations and standards

  • Ensure consistent execution of systems and client experience

You are responsible for both training excellence and business performance.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Revenue Growth & Sales

  • Drive 7–10% year-over-year revenue growth

  • Own monthly sales targets and lead conversion

  • Conduct or oversee 5+ new client assessments weekly

  • Maintain strong follow-up and closing systems

Client Retention & Experience

  • Maintain 2–3% or lower monthly attrition

  • Ensure strong onboarding and engagement systems

  • Resolve client issues quickly and professionally

  • Deliver a consistent five-star experience

Training Floor Leadership

  • Train clients and lead by example daily

  • Maintain coaching quality standards across staff

  • Step in to maintain session quality when needed

  • Cover sessions during staffing gaps

Staff Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and hold staff accountable

  • Conduct weekly check-ins and monthly 1:1 meetings

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development

  • Address performance issues directly and professionally

  • Build a strong, high-performance team culture

Operations & Studio Management

  • Maintain clean, organized, professional facility standards

  • Oversee scheduling and coverage

  • Ensure smooth daily operations and systems execution

  • Identify facility needs proactively (30+ days in advance)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Fitness Studio Manager or Personal Training Manager experience

  • Personal Training experience (1+ year)

  • Membership sales and client retention experience

  • Functional Movement Screening experience (FMS)

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Computer literacy and tech comfort

  • Social media awareness

  • Evening and weekend availability

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • NASM CPT, ACSM CPT or equivalent preferred

  • CPR/AED required (renewal support available)

  • Additional certifications a plus (TRX, NSCA, ISSA, ACE, CSCS, Nutrition, Group Fitness etc.)
