BUILD SOMETHING FROM THE START: Alloy Personal Training Broadneck is seeking an experienced, certified fitness professional to help launch our Arnold studio as its Founding Assistant Studio Director & Head Coach.

This is a coaching leadership role with meaningful responsibility for the success of the entire studio. You’ll lead exceptional small group personal training sessions while helping grow a membership community, develop fellow coaches, drive sales and retention, and create an experience that keeps members coming back.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY: You’ll work alongside the Founding Studio Director and ownership to turn launch plans into action. From a prospective member’s first conversation to their progress on the training floor, you’ll help shape the standards, relationships, and culture of a new Alloy studio.

YOU WILL HELP DRIVE:

  • Small group personal training and exceptional technical coaching
  • Membership consultations, sales, and new member conversion
  • Member onboarding, engagement, retention, and referrals
  • Coach leadership, training, and development
  • Daily studio operations and performance
  • Local outreach, partnerships, events, and community visibility
  • A welcoming, accountable, results-focused culture for members and employees

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coach a significant weekly schedule of Alloy small group personal training sessions, delivering safe, individualized, technically excellent coaching
  • Learn members’ goals, abilities, limitations, and progress; make appropriate modifications to help them train safely and effectively
  • Create an engaging environment where members feel known, supported, and confident
  • Uphold Alloy programming and coaching standards and help deliver a consistent experience across the coaching team
  • Mentor and develop fellow coaches through observation, feedback, encouragement, and accountability
  • Partner with the Studio Director on staffing, scheduling, onboarding, daily operations, and team development
  • Take initiative and assume broader leadership responsibilities when the Studio Director is unavailable
  • Understand studio goals and key performance indicators and act on opportunities to improve performance
  • Lead prospective member consultations, communicate the value of Alloy, follow up consistently, and confidently ask for the sale
  • Strengthen member retention and referrals by building relationships and recognizing when someone needs additional support
  • Participate in local events, grassroots outreach, and partnerships with Broadneck-area businesses and wellness professionals
  • Represent Alloy Broadneck in the Arnold community and help build a studio culture grounded in accountability, teamwork, kindness, empathy, and service

ABOUT YOU:

  • You hold a current, nationally recognized personal training certification, such as ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA, NCSF, or a comparable credential. Certification is required. A degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field is a plus.
  • You have 2–5+ years of personal training, small-group training, or comparable fitness experience
  • You have fitness leadership, management, or supervisory experience, or you’re ready to take on a substantial coaching leadership role
  • You have experience with membership sales and relationship building
  • You can motivate members, develop coaches, and deliver a strong client experience
  • You’re comfortable leading consultations, following up with prospects, and asking for the sale
  • You communicate clearly, stay organized, and follow through
  • You can use fitness technology and studio management systems
  • You enjoy building relationships in the local community
  • You’re willing to be highly involved during launch, including some early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed

RELEVANT BACKGROUNDS: We’d welcome certified coaches and leaders from personal training studios, boutique fitness, small-group training, and full-service health clubs, including F45 Training, Orangetheory Fitness, Burn Boot Camp, Fitness Together, The Exercise Coach, Anytime Fitness, Life Time, Crunch Fitness, Gold’s Gym, Equinox, CrossFit affiliates, 9Round, Club Pilates, and StretchLab. Experience with a particular brand is not required. What matters is your ability to coach well, develop people, build lasting member relationships, and help a fitness business grow.

STRONGER TOGETHER: Alloy Personal Training Broadneck specializes in customized small-group personal training designed around the individual. Our coaches combine intelligent programming, technical expertise, accountability, and personal connection to help members become stronger and healthier at every stage of life.
